Living Word Congregational Church Leadership

Living Word Congregational Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. The following are brief bios of our leadership team.

Roy Aiken, Jr.

Senior Pastor

Senior Pastor Roy Aiken, Jr. is committed to Bible-based preaching and teaching. His spiritual counseling is based on the truth of the Bible. Attendees and members of Pastor Roy’s churches are consistently and effectively taught the Word of God through spirit-filled worship services, Bible studies, and group ministry.

Pastor Roy is the Senior Pastor of Living Word Congregational Church since 1999, and the Senior Pastor of Rock of Refuge Congregational Church since 2015. Both churches are located in Jeannette, Pennsylvania.

In addition to leading the churches, Pastor Roy is a theology instructor at the Westmoreland School of Ministry in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. He instructs college-level classes for students earning academic credits at Oral Roberts University.

Pastor Roy’s ministry also extends into the realm of praise and worship! He is a singer/songwriter/composer of Christian worship music and has written scores of Christian and patriotic songs.  He is the lead singer of Garment of Praise, a Christian worship band. Garment of Praise performs at charity events, community concerts, church concerts, events, anniversaries, revivals, and celebrations.

Jon Mallich

Pastor

Pastor Jon is a Pastor at Living Word Congregational Church and Rock of Refuge Congregational Church.

Pastor Jon began pastoring the youth at Living Word in 2010 and joined the staff of Rock of Refuge as a Pastor in 2018. Both churches are located in Jeannette, Pennsylvania.

In addition to assisting with pastoring the churches, Pastor Jon works in overseeing the Living Word Junior and Senior High Sunday Church Service and the Soldiers for Christ Youth Group.

Pastor Jon enjoys singing and playing the guitar. He frequently leads worship at Rock of Refuge and Living Word.

Pastor Jon’s ministry also extends beyond the walls of the churches. He can be found coaching and assisting with a number of youth sports teams in the local communities.
